Investment Risk Warning

This is a high-risk investment. The Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) involves investments in small and medium-sized unquoted companies which carry a higher risk than investing in larger, listed companies.

  • Your capital is at risk. You may lose some or all of the money you invest.
  • Investment performance is not guaranteed, and tax reliefs are subject to change.
  • This investment is not suitable for all investors.
  • EIIS relief is conditional on both the investor and the company continuing to meet all qualifying requirements as determined by the Revenue Commissioners.

The Central Bank of Ireland recommends you seek independent financial advice before making any investment decision.

Tax Relief Explained

How EIIS Works for Irish Investors

Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS)

The Employment and Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) is an Irish government initiative designed to encourage investment in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by offering income tax relief to eligible investors.

Subject to Revenue approval and personal circumstances, Irish tax residents may obtain up to 50% income tax relief on qualifying investments in pre-revenue companies like Vård Digital Health. The relief is normally available in the year the investment is made, provided EIIS conditions are met. Vård Digital Health intends to apply for EIIS qualification for this investment round.
